FRP ENGINEERING
FLOOR GRATING
Compared to metal grating, FRP floor grating or FRP walkway grating is lightweight and easy to install. It provides you with all of the benefits of corrosion resistance and more. Our top quality floor grating solution can be combined with access ways and other protection to provide you the whole solution. We can custom fit and fabricate our floor grating for your project.
At FRP Engineering, we provide moulded grating and pultruded grating solutions.
When it comes to floor grating or walkway mesh, you’ll be surprised by the many different uses there are for it. Due to its non-slip, fire retardant, non-corrosive, and non-conductive properties, FRP Engineering floor grating is perfectly designed for the harsh environments.
MOULDED GRATING
Providing bi-directional support, moulded grating is strong yet light, and easy to install. Created from only the highest quality glass fibres and quality resin, it is a superior alternative solution compared to steel floors.
Our moulded gratings are available in a variety of thicknesses: 25mm, 38mm, or 50mm. They are also suitable for forklift traffic areas.
There are several types of resins that our moulded gratings are made from. The resin systems that FRP Engineering has available in stock are Isophthalic Polyester, ISOFR and Vinyl Ester, VEFR and Phenolic. Other resin systems are available as a Special Order. Each of these resin systems have different purposes and applications, such as the type of environment that the resin systems are best suited for.

PULTRUDED GRATING
Pultruded grating provides the opportunity to span over longer distances. FRP Engineering’s pultruded gratings are designed to provide both superior uni-directional strength and corrosion resistance.
At FRP Engineering, we offer a layout and cutting service for our grating to perfectly fit your project. Our aim is to ensure that we maximise all grating sheets with minimal waste.
